Erasmus+ Mobility for Teaching at:

University of Zagreb – Academy of Fine Arts, Croatia

My experiences in the program Erasmus+ are more than positive. The reception and organization were perfect. All from the Department for International Cooperation were very professional and helpful. I was in staff mobility and teaching programme in the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia. Emphasis on teaching was the use of different graphic techniques in modern art production. Lectures are also included the presentation of the institution from which I come, presentations of my works and discussion with students.

After that, I held a workshop at the printmaking department, where I showed the students some of the industrial materials that I use in my work. The workshop in two rounds was focused on the creation of a group of drawings or sketches for final printing. Discussing possibilities of using or making comics in graphic techniques – short lecture, PowerPoint presentation, discussion – transfer in some of the available materials for linocut, making trial proof printing, discussion. For this purpose, it was used traditional and some industrial materials. During the workshop, it was constantly open critical discussion about final results.

My residence also included a visit to all departments and familiarization with the teaching methods of the host school. So, taking all of the above, my conclusion is that this visit was highly beneficial to me as a teacher, and the institution from which I come.
