Composition

Upon completion of doctoral studies, candidates acquire competencies needed for professional composing and artistic research work on the highest level and are qualified to teach in higher education institutions.

Performing

The goal of the programme is to form music personalities of the highest professional level, prepared to achieve the highest performing standards. Candidates acquire competencies for individual artistic research work, as well as work in music pedagogical institutions on the university level.

Science of Music

The programme is in the fields of social and humanistic sciences. The aim of the programme is to enable students to master research skills and methods in relevant fields – musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory and pedagogy – with the focus on critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new ideas in academic and professional environment. The programme consists of 4 modules:
