MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE IN BELGRADE: Aleksandar Perunović, University of Montenegro

University of Arts in Belgrade, Faculty of Music

I spent five days and did several lessons at the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade. I taught the subject Musical Forms to students at the Departments of Composition, Conducting and Pedagogy, first and second year of bachelor studies. Also, I gave a lesson in the field of contemporary music technique to students at every study level at the Department of Composition. Classes were attended by an average of 15-20 students.
According to some reactions from both professors and students, lectures were interesting, and with valuable innovations in the field of musical analysis. On the other hand, through monitoring the teaching process and conversations with professors, I gained knowledge useful for working at my own institution. Also, we exchanged some papers and literature related to the fields we deal with, as well as personal contacts for future cooperation.
In short, a really good and useful experience!
