Student Mobility Week “There and Back Again”

9. October 2026

The Faculty of Applied Arts and the University of Arts in Belgrade are honoured to invite you to the Student Mobility Week “There and Back Again,” which will take place from 12 to 16 October 2026.

The Mobility Week, organised as part of the Erasmus Days initiative, is dedicated to the experiences that students gain through the Erasmus+ and CEEPUS programmes. It showcases the successful mobilities of our students, as well as our partnerships with institutions abroad.

We invite you to attend the opening of the Mobility Week in the Ceremonial Hall of the UoA Rectorate (Kosančićev venac 29) on 12 October at 5:00 PM, with welcoming addresses by the Rector of the University of Arts, Prof. Dr. Mirjana Nikolić, and the Director of the Austrian Cultural Forum, Ms. Liobe Bamer.

Following the welcoming speeches, our guest for the entire week, Dr. Klaus Speidel, philosopher, curator and art critic from Vienna, will deliver the lecture “Nature after Art: Ecology, AI and the Worlds We Make.” The lecture is open to all students and faculty of the University of Arts, as well as to the general public.

Then, at 7:00 PM, an exhibition of student works created during stays at partner institutions in Vienna, Paris and Prague will open in the same venue.

All events within the Mobility Week will be held in English and will take place at the Rectorate of the University of Arts (Kosančićev venac 29) and at the European House (Kneza Mihaila 1/II). Admission to all events is free, while registration is required for the student workshop via LINK. The detailed programme is attached.

The event is supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum, the European House, Erasmus+ and CEEPUS.

Welcome!
