Doctoral programme in Polymedia Art encourages artists to research synthesized artistic practice and join media which are different when considering the effect on our senses (visual, sound, tactile), considering the type of signals (for example musical and speaking) and for storing and processing (film, video, digital polymedia). Polymedia art engage almost all the aspects of media combination – from classical to digital, from theatre to performance and art synthesis.

The programme is aimed to expand student’s boundaries of theoretical and aesthetic thinking, develop their creative potential in this field and provides not only a highly supportive learning environment for experimentation, innovation, and discovery, but also a historical and theoretical insight into various poetics and techniques and technologies of polymedia art.
