Erasmus+ Mobility for Training at:

University of Arts in Belgrade, Faculty of Musi

I have spent my mobility from October 4 to October 8, 2021 at the Library of the Faculty of Music University of Arts in Belgrade.

First of all, I would like to emphasize the good communication, coordination and organization of my mobility by the International Cooperation Department of the University of Arts in Belgrade and the Faculty of Music as well as colleagues from the Library of the Faculty of Music with whom it was a great pleasure to work.

The goals of this mobility were education, research, professional development and the building of new skills. Also, I successfully expanded my knowledge about special collections of old and rare books and legacies. The goals of this mobility have been fully realized.

Activities carried out during this mobility were meetings, presentations, sharing of good practices, visits to digital exhibitions, practical expansion of knowledge about the organization of special collections of old and rare materials and legacies. I was also introduced to the part of the collection that contains manuscript materials (scores from domestic Serbian composers).

I was able to exchange ideas with colleagues about future projects in the field of digital humanities and to build new skills in my professional development and to expand professional contacts.

After this mobility, I have several ideas that I want to realize in my library in the field of digital humanities. Also, i built some new professional skills and I plan to apply that new skills in my library at my workplace. In this sense, this mobility has raised my professional development to a higher level.

In this regard, I consider mobility for non-teaching staff to be extremely useful and necessary as a significant investment in the professional and human qualities of the non-teaching staff employed at universities, which directly affects the better quality of education and a better working environment and communication with students and teachers.
